One semi-final and the final of India's zonal domestic competition
Duleep Trophy will be aired live on ESPN. Final and one of the two semi-finals will
be played at Kochi from where the ESPN will air two matches – one semi-final
and the final.
And for commentary feed, if Challenger Trophy coverage is
anything to go by, then in all likelihood, Duleep Trophy will be aired
with dual feed- in Hindi and English.
Both the semis will be on October 10-13, however, only East Zone
vs North Zone semi will be live on TV simply because the final will be played
at the same venue –Kochi. It makes lot of business sense when it comes to
airing domestic cricket.
Though East Zone is the
current champion, North
Zone and West Zone have been the most successful teams with 17 wins each.
